Happy Birthday!!

I know, I am a horrible mother, Addi had her first birthday party on the 20th and I am just now getting it posted! We had so much fun, she was so cute and her favorite part of the party was the balloons. We aren't sure what she thought of the cake, she just licked it off her fingers. I thought she would dive right in! We can't believe it has been a year already! Here are some fun pics from her party.

Update

You may have guessed that Addi is no longer nine months old! It has been so crazy and busy, I can't believe how fast time goes. Here are some pictures of her summer and beginning of fall. She is getting so big and we are having so much fun with her!

Nine Months Old!

I cannot believe that Addi is 9 months old today!  It has flown by!  She isn't crawling yet but she is getting up on her knees, she just can't figure out what to do next.  She went swimming for the first time on Friday with her aunt Kali, grandpa John, uncle Bryan, and cousins Kadrey and Jaxon.  She loved the water, she started kicking her legs and she kept trying to drink it!  We have been having so much fun with her, she is such a sweet little girl and we can't imagine what our lives would be like without her!

Summer Fun!

I know that it is just absolutely pathetic that I have had all summer to update our blog and haven't done it yet!  We have just been having such a good time with Addi that I haven't had any time!  She is getting so big and her personality is getting cuter and cuter each day.  She is all smiles and is just so happy.  She is growing and losing some of her little rolls (her legs still look like the Michelin Man's but that is okay)!  Here are just a few of the many pictures we have taken!

Hey Baby, Hey Baby, Hey!

So a couple of weeks ago I got to go to the No Doubt concert.  It was awesome!  My friends Krissy and Jordan got me a ticket so we (along with their cousin Kelsie) headed on down to the E Center.  I absolutely love No Doubt and I think that Gwen is gorgeous!  The concert rocked they did such a good job.  Paramore opened for them as well as a band called The Sounds.  We had so much fun and I am so glad that I got to see them.  Thanks girls!

Signed, Sealed, and Blessed!

I know it has been awhile since my last post but it has been a crazy time!  We have finished up school and last weekend we were finally able to go to the temple and have Addi sealed to us.  It was a completely amazing experience.  She looked so beautiful in her white dress, just like an angel.  I used to look back at the time when we were trying to get pregnant and wonder why we never could.  Why did we have to go through this when it seemed like everyone else had it so easy (I know that is not true but that is how it felt).  Now I know that it is because Addi picked us, and we had to be patient and wait to get her in a different way.  I can't imagine my life without her, she is our baby and she will be for eternity.  We love and appreciate all of our friends and family.  We could not believe the support at the temple and at church on Sunday when Dub gave her the most beautiful blessing.  This was truly the best weekend we have had.  I am just so lucky to have such a sweet daughter and a wonderful husband.  He is an amazing person and my hero.  He has gone through so much, I don't know how he has been able to stay so strong.  I love him and our little Addi-Pey.  Here a some pics from this weekend, enjoy!

Finalized!

We went to court today to finalize the adoption.  It was an awesome experience, the judge was very nice, he made both of us cry and Addi began talking and gave him her two cents!  We are just happy that everything has gone so well and it will be our names on her birth certificate!

Almost There!

Addi is now six months old and in a week from today we are going to go to court to finalize the adoption.  I am so glad that it is finally here!  We have always known that she was meant to be ours and it is going to be nice to have it complete!  We are planning to have her sealed to us on May 30th in Ogden and bless her on the 31st.  We got her on Dub's birthday (October 22).  And we thought that blessing her on my birthday would be nice.  Thanks to everyone, we really appreciate the love and support that we have been given.  Here are some cute pics of our baby girl!
